Combining western and Chinese medicine my approach promotes health and well-being, strengthening the immune system and has a detoxifying effect on the body. As treatment tends to balance the whole body, many people find it also leads to increased vitality, confidence, better appetite, sleep and an overall sense of well-being.
Due to the nature of assessment of the effectiveness of Acupuncture/ Chinese medicine many ailments, symptoms and illnesses can’t be promoted as being helped due to the inverse way acupuncture approaches disease and healing.
For instance, a headache (the symptom) in Chinese medicine will have many root causes. Treatment for a headache in a standard (one size fits all) way will inevitably only be effective for a small percentage of patients. Assessing treatment effectiveness with allowing the proper diagnosis of the roots of the headache and treating accordingly, results would obviously be more effective.
